Find GIS Jobs lists jobs and links to the employers who posted them. You don't need an account to use it. This page explains what we collect, why, and how to reach us.

What we collect today

• No accounts, cookies or tracking. We don't set cookies, and we don't use advertising or tracking tools.
• Basic server logs. Like every website, our hosting provider records technical details of each visit (IP address, browser type, the page requested and the time) to keep the site running and secure. These logs are kept for a short time and aren't used to identify you.
• Searches and filters are part of the page address, so you can share or bookmark them. We don't store them with anything that identifies you.

Job alerts (when they launch)

If you sign up for email job alerts, we'll collect:

• your email address, and
• the search and filters you want alerts for.

We use these only to send the alerts you asked for. You'll confirm your address before we send anything, and every email has a link to change your alert or unsubscribe in one click. When you unsubscribe, we delete your address and alerts. An email delivery company sends the emails for us; it may use your address only to deliver them.

Visitor statistics (if we add them)

We may add simple visitor statistics (for example, how many people view a page). If we do, we'll use a privacy-friendly tool that doesn't use cookies or track you across other sites, and we'll update this page first.

What we don't do

• We don't sell or rent your information.
• We don't share it with advertisers.

Applying for jobs

When you click Apply, you leave Find GIS Jobs and go to the employer's own site (or a job site such as USAJOBS). Anything you share there is covered by their privacy policy, not this one.

Your choices

You can ask what we hold about you, or ask us to delete it, by emailing hello@findgisjobs.com. We'll reply within 30 days.

Children

Find GIS Jobs is meant for adults looking for work and isn't aimed at children.

Changes

If we change how we handle information, we'll update this page and the date at the top. See also our Terms.
